Context
Apart from using the ChainUp mail service, merchants can also choose to integrate their own mailbox service provider.
Often, merchants may face issue with error message showcasing that the password is incorrect when integrating with Google Workspace.|
Please refer to the following steps on how to resolve this issue.


【Step 1】Google Workspace Setting

Upon logging into the Google Account, select the email address that you would like to use:

If the email address you would like to use is not showing up, select 'Add new user' first


Ensure the  2-step verification has been enabled:



Select Application-specific password:


Once you have configured Application-specific password,you may then retrieve password:
The password you have just retrieved will be used for the backend mailbox configuration setting
In the event where you are unable to retrieve the password after selecting Application-specified password.
Please visit  
https://myaccount.google.com/security select 'Others' and key in ‘Exchange’ select 'Generate'

After retrieving the password, the account profile should showcase that the password has been generated:
